Error description
During jvm start-up the following errors are seen in the SystemOut.log: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown group name: trace (EXCM_UNKNOWN_PATH_TYPE), CWPTF0002W, and java.io.StreamCorruptedException: invalid stream header' The messages are occuring in Network Deployment version 8.5.5.11 on Linux, however, the messages do not impact the server runtime.
Local fix
If the jvms are restarted three times, the error messages do not appear

These errors have no impact on the server's run-time.
Problem conclusion
The Binary Trace Facility has been modified to recreate the objects file if it has been corrupted to avoid the java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown group name: trace (EXCM_UNKNOWN_PATH_TYPE), CWPTF0002W, and java.io.StreamCorruptedException: invalid stream header errors being output to SystemOut.log The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 8.5.5.13 and 9.0.0.6.
