Error description

CDI injection into JAX-RS classes fails to work after the
user starts a separate application that contains JAX-RS
classes, but is not CDI-enabled.

CDI injection into JAX-RS classes fails to work after the user
starts a separate application that contains JAX-RS classes, but
is not CDI-enabled.

Problem conclusion

The fix for this APAR modifies the behavior of the JAX-RS/CDI
interaction in the Liberty server runtime so that each
application is more isolated when it comes to injection.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 17.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
