Error description

In the ldapRegistry element in a server.xml, the
membershipAttribute does not work if filters are also set.

*                  membershipAttribute in groupProperties in   *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If filters are set in the ldapRegistry  *
*                      element of a server.xml, the            *
*                      membershipAttribute element is ignored  *
*                      inside groupProperties.                 *

The filters inside of ldapRegistry override anything set in a
membershipAttribute in groupProperties.

Problem conclusion

The membershipAttribute is now correctly utilized.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 17.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
