    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When running on Windows, it is possible that a temporary file
    created by WebSphere Application Server can remain locked
    after it is released (closed). An existing Java bug is
    suspected as the cause; see
    http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6213298
    This prevents the application server from deleting the file.

Problem conclusion

  • A workaround has been implemented which causes the application
    server to retry the file deletion up to 60 times in a loop.
    After each failed attempt, a Java garbage collection is
    requested followed by a sleep of 50 milliseconds.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.13 and 9.0.0.7. Please refer to the Recommended
