Error description

  • ?
During deployment of CTG cicseci.rar from CTG 9.2 into a
WebSphere Application server running with Java 8, the
    reauthentication-support attribute of an @Connector
annotation is missing from the generated ra.xml.
After installing the resource adapter, the descriptor (ra.xml)
can be viewed in the administrative console by selecting:
Resource adapters > ECIResourceAdapter > Deployment Descriptor
The descriptor should contain a reauthentication-support
    element.
    For example:
    <reauthentication-support>true</reauthentication-support>
Note: Ensure that CICS APAR PI89384 is applied.

Local fix

  • If the JVM can switched temporarily to a lower level level, and
the server restarted, the cicseci.rar can be deployed and
annotation processed. Once processed, the server can be
    restarted with Java 8.

The code has been updated to process the annotation attributes
