PI92386: High CPU usage on Liberty when using IBM JDK

Error description

This APAR was generated as a result of PMR 49485,000,738.
The customer reported that when start their application on
Liberty 17.0.0.2, the CPU usage goes to 100% and they get
OutOfMemory dumps.

When using WebSphere Liberty with an IBM JDK, some JAX-WS
applications may experience high CPU and OutOfMemory conditions.
If this error occurs, a heap dump will show a large number of
com.ibm.xml.xlxp2.scan.util.DataBuffer objects allocated by the
XLXP parser.

Problem conclusion

The XLXP parser was updated to fix the memory leak problem which
was causing the OutOfMemory error.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 18.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
