*                      captured in SMF 120 subtype 11 records  *
*                      when using forwarding servlets.         *

SMF 120 subtype 11 records show an incorrect request start
timestamp after having processed servlet requests that forward
requests to other web applications.  More precisely, the request
start time is captured when the forwarded application starts
execution and not when the forwarding sevlet starts execution.
Therefore, forwarding servlet and associated filter processing
times are missed.

The issue is noticed only when the zosRequestLogging-1.0 feature
is enabled without the zosWlm-1.0 feature.

If both the zosRequestLogging-1.0 and zosWlm-1.0 features are
enabled, the request start time is recorded appropriately.

Problem conclusion

Code was updated to capture the request start timestamp
appropriately.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 18.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
