Error description

  • The WebSphere Application Server migration job BBOMDINS contains
    instructions (copied below) refering to a python script named
    install_all_apps.py.  But, that script will not be found as it
    has been replaced in WAS v9 by the new migration tool called
    WASMigrationAppInstaller.sh, which has enhanced capabilities for
    deploying apps after a migration in a smarter manner.

Problem conclusion

  • Documentation has been updated to refer to the new
    WASMigrationAppInstaller tool which replaced the reference to
    the old install_all_apps.py script.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 9.0.5.0.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:
