When launched over a java 7.x runtime the server will emit a warning message to recommend customers switch the runtime JVM to IBM WebSphere Java Technology Edition version 8.
Problem conclusion
An end of service warning message for IBM SDK Java Technology Edition versions 7 and 7.1 will be displayed during server startup. Customers are recommended to start using Java 8 by installing and switching the WebSphere Application Server runtime JVM to IBM WebSphere Java Technology Edition version 8. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.14.
