Error description

The disk space check for certain operations, such as profile
creation, does not detect the correct amount of disk space free
for certain filesystems on the Linux x86_64 architecture.
Filesystems which use a different fragment size than block
size are affected by this defect.

This will cause the disk space check to detect significantly
less disk space than is actually available.  For this reason,
the profile creator will refuse to create a profile on an
affected filesystem unless a large amount of disk space is free.

This APAR addresses an issue with the code responsible with
interacting with the filesystems on Linux x86_64 architecture.

Local fix

Removing the following line from a profile template's
"actionRegistry.xml" will work around the issue:

 <validator path="validators/diskSpaceValidator.ijc"/>

This is only recommended as a workaround for filesystems on
Linux x86_64 which are affected by the problem described in this
APAR.

This is because Linux's statvfs impl isn't following POSIX
definition and reporting the values in the proper units for
statvfs on NFS mounts where blocksize != fragementsize.

Problem conclusion

CodeChanges made in NativeFile of linux library to fix this
problem so that diskspace check returns the correct value.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 6.1.0.21.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
