Error description

ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException occurs when
modifySIBForeignBus command is used to create topic space
mapping. Example output is as follows:

Problem summary

*                      command to modify a foreign bus         *
*                      definition created using the            *
*                      administrative console can result in an *
*                      ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException.         *

If the modifySIBForeignBus wsadmin command is invoked for a
foreign bus definition which does not contain a
TopicSpaceMappings entry then an
ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is thrown. This was due to the
code not checking for a null or zero-length array before
attempting to use one of its elements.

Some of the internal operations performed by the command have
completed before the exception is thrown.
If AdminConfig.save() is called after the exception occurs,
the foreign bus definition may be seen in the configuration
without the requested topic space mappings.

Problem conclusion

The fix adds checking which prevents the exception being thrown.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.1.0.21.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
