When authenticating a userid containing a Distinguished Name
(DN) greater than 128 characters the following exceptions may

*                      Distinguished Name is more than 128     *
*                      characters.                             *

There is a method named decodeExportedTargetName which
extracts a string from ORBobject. In this method there is an
error in calculating the length of the string, if the length of
the string in the ORB object is greater than 128 characters,
it constructs an array, which is used for temporary storage,
with a negative value.

Problem conclusion

With this fix, the logic of calculating the string length is
corrected.

APAR PK70698 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 6.1.0.21 of WebSphere
Application Server V6.1 for z/OS
