The IBM_CS_WIRE_FORMAT_VERSION custom property can be used to
specify the internal protocol versions used by the HA Manager.
If the protocol version is dynamically upgraded to version
6.1.0, under some conditions, a protocol version mismatch
can occur on a subsequent restart. The protocol mismatch can
only occur if replication is enabled or a core group bridge is
configured. (The protocol mismatch does not occur on core
stacks. It can only occur on data stacks which are used only
by replication and the core group bridge)

Problem conclusion

The code has been changed so that the protocol version is
always assigned correctly during a dynamic protocol
update. This avoids the protocol mismatch problem that
can occur when a process that has participated in a dynamic
protocol update is subsequently restarted.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.21 and 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the
