Error description

This apar will reduce access to the database during invalidation
if using multi-schema rows.  This will improve performance.

Whenever http session database persistence is configured,
during invalidation processing the session manager needs to
fetch the session from the backend database.  In a multi-row
persistence configuration this was being done through multiple
queries.  Through this APAR we have optimized the number of
queries.

Problem conclusion

This APAR optimized the performance of session
invalidation in multi-rows configuration.  The number
of queries invalidating the session has been optimized to a
minimal number.


APAR PK71265 currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 6.0.2.35 of WebSphere Application Server V6.0.1
for z/OS.
