Error description

When a JAX-WS application with updated or new policy set
bindings is re-deployed to an external application server
using an assembly tool (such as Rational Application
Developer), the updated bindings are not propagated to the
working set in the application server's target profile.
Because of this, the application will run with incorrect
bindings.

When using an assembly tool (such as Rational Application
Developer) to deploy applications to an external application
server, if policy set bindings are added or updated for
a client application that is being re-deployed to the server,
the bindings aren't propagated to the working set in the
application server's target profile.

When this happens, the client application will run with
incorrect bindings.  If the bindings were added, the
application will run with default bindings.  If the bindings
were updated, the application will run with the old bindings.

Problem conclusion

The application server was updated to propagate the new or
updated bindings for a re-deployed application to the working
set in the target profile.

WebSphere Application Server Toolkit APAR PK69766 is required
in order to complete this solution.  PK69766 will be included
in WebSphere Application Server Toolkit fixpack 6.1.1.8 and
Rational Application Developer fixpack 7.0.0.8.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.1.0.23.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
