PK71756: THE SETJVMPROPERTIES COMMAND IS GENERATING THE WRONG COMMAND ASSIST FOR THE DEBUGARGS PARAMETER

Error description

The command assistance for the setJVMProperties command has a
bug with the "debugArgs" parameter.

AdminTask.setJVMProperties('[-serverName server1 -nodeName
myNode -debugArgs
["-agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=
7777"]]')

The debugArgs is a string value, but it is being generated with
both brackets and quotes.  This causes the xml to be saved as
with extra "&quot".

The command assistance for the setJVMProperties command has a

Problem conclusion

This is a bug in AdminCmdScriptGenerator buildParameter
method.  We should not put extra brackets for a command
parameter string starting with "-" besides the quotes.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
