Error description

The problem occurs in the WebSphere Application Server
administrative console, if you have a version 5 server within
a version 7 cell.  The link, EJB timer service settings,
incorrectly appears by clicking on
Servers > Server types > V5.x server
and expanding EJB Container Settings. Also, EJB cache
settings, incorrectly appears by clicking on Servers > Server
types > V5.x server, expanding EJB Container Settings and
clicking on EJB Container.  Clicking on either of the links
and making configuration changes can cause your V5.X server to
fail to start with this error:
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.FeatureNotFoundException: Feature
'timerSettings' not found.

This exception occurs when trying to start a version 5.x server:

ADMU0111E: Program exiting with error:
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.FeatureNotFoundException: Feature
'enableSFSBFailover' not found.

The exception is caused by newer configuration data that
was added to the 5.x server configuration. The new
configuration data is not valid for the server version.

The administrative console did not correctly hide the
newer properties from the version 5.x server
configuration panel. The bad configuration data was
added by clicking Apply or OK from either EJB Container
Settings or EJB cache settings under Servers >
Server types > V5X server.

Problem conclusion

The administrative console will hide the fields that are
not valid for the version of the server.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
