Error description

  • As a result of an invalid binding, an internal error was
    thrown, producing error message CWPOL9999.  The actual message
    expected in this case should be CWPOL0300, detailing the
    failing service.

Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An invalid binding was expected to      *
    *                      cause the runtime to throw CWPOL0300,   *
    *                      but CWPOL9999 - internal error was      *
    *                      thrown instead. Additionally, the       *
    *                      error message 'service null' is not     *
    *                      clear enough.                           *

    The expected error message is CWPOL0300E; The received error
    message is javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: CWPOL9999E:
    The WS-Policy function that is requested for service null is
    not supported because of an internal error
    com.ibm.ws.wspolicy.WSPolicyInternalException:
    java.security.PrivilegedActionException:
    com.ibm.ws.wspolicy.WSPolicyBindingsException:
    com.ibm.wsspi.wssecurity.core.SoapSecurityException:
    CWWSS7051E: No web services security custom bindings or
    default bindings were found.
    A non-zero return code was generated.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Policy service will be changed to ensure the correct error
    message is thrown when an invalid binding was being used.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
