Error description

WebSphere Application Server 7.0 server logs report errors
when starting the 'ibmasyncrsp' application. These errors only
occur when the Version 7.0 WebSphere Application Server is in
a managed cell. The  application starts successfully, but
errors similar to the following can be seen:

Possible Failed to open input stream on target [
ibmasyncrsp.war ].Failed to create temporary file.
A nested strategy will be used, but this usually slows

Problem summary

Due to an incorrect configuration of the 'ibmasyncrsp' system
application, errors are logged in the WebSphere Application
Server logs. These errors appear each time the server is
started.

Problem conclusion

The configuration of the 'ibmasyncrsp' application has been
corrected. The errors no longer appear in the logs.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
