PK72331: FAILURE VALIDATION FOR UPDATING AN APPLICATION (EAR) THAT CONTAINS 2 OR MORE WEB SERVICES EJB JAR MODULES

Error description

If updating some web services related modules like the router
war or web service enabled enterprise bean jar for an
application that contains 2 or more web services (either
JAX-RPC or JAX-WS) enterprise bean jars, the following 2
exceptions or errors may be thrown:

error 1:

CWSAD0045E: The binding file of update EJB jar
<theUpdatedEJBName>.jar has a different HTTP router module name
<theUpdatedRouterName>.war than the deployed HTTP router module
name <.theDeployedRouterName>.war. I updated
CommerceAccelerator.war, got the same errors as before:

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When there are more than one EJB        *
*                      modules with web services in an app,    *
*                      router module validation fails during   *
*                      module update.                          *

Currently the enterprise bean router module validation logic
only expects 1 single JAXRPC or JAXWS ejb within an
application (EAR). As a result, when an EAR has more than 1
JAXWS or JAXRPC ejbs, it fails.

Problem conclusion

Updated the code to handle multiple enterprise bean modules
so that the validation logic will be done against all deployed
enterprise beans found within the application.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
