Error description

Correct problems in the intial release of web services for V7 of

 the application server.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A customer using JAX-WS web services    *
*                      might receive a timeout error, a        *
*                      URIException or a                       *
*                      ConcurrentModificationException.        *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

A client using the JAX-WS programming model with
WS-Reliable Messaging and MTOM attachments may get a timeout
exception from the server.

A client requesting a web service may get a URIException if
the location of the wsdl file contains a blank character.

A client using the JAX-WS programming api and
WS-Reliable Messaging may rarely encounter a
ConcurrentModificationException.

Problem conclusion

A correction is made to the WebSphere Application Server's
MTOM processing.  This change corrects the timeout error.

A correction is made to the WebSphere Application Server's
algorithm that builds URL objects.  This change corrects the
URLException error.

A correction is made to the WebSphere Application Server's
implementation of the JAX-WS MessageContext.  The change
corrects the ConcurrentModificationException.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
