Error description

If no JNDI name is specified in "Bind message destination
references to administered objects" step and the field is
required, no validation error is displayed in the
administrative console when selecting the Next button to go
to the next step.

The WebSphere Application Server console is designed to provide
immediate feedback for problems in each step of the enterprise
application install. If there is missing required data in a
step, a validation error is displayed so that a deployer can
fix the problem right away in the current step page. For "Bind
message destination references to administrated objects" step,
the step specific validation logic is not called when the
"Next" button is clicked on to go to the next step. No
validation error is returned for this step until after the
"Finish" button in the "Summary" page is clicked on to start
the enterprise application deployment.

ADMA4011E: A validation error occurred in task Mapping message
destination references to enterprise beans. The Java Naming
and Directory Interface (JNDI) name is not specified for
message destination object MyShippingQueue in modules MyEJB.

Problem conclusion

The mode was modified to add the call to validate the "Bind
message destination references to administrated objects" step.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
