Error description

The PMT for z/OS assigns the same user ID that is created
for the control region to the daemon and and control region
adjunct. This forces customers that require unique user IDs
for the daemon and control region adjunct processes to
edit the PMT-generated customization jobs.

The Version 7.0 PMT for z/OS assigns the control region user
ID to the associated daemon and control region adjunct. This
prevents users from assigning unique user IDs to daemons and
control region adjuncts.

Problem conclusion

The Version 7.0 PMT for z/OS was updated to allow unique user
IDs to be assigned to daemon and control region adjuncts when
defining application server, management or managed nodes. This
support must be enabled by using the Profile Management Tool
preference page. (Select the "Window > Preferences..." menu
item to display the preference pages and then select "Profile
Management Tool" in the preferences navigation tree.)

APAR PK72695 is currently targeted for inclusion in
WebSphere Customization Tools 7.0.0.1. When available,
WebSphere Customization Tools 7.0.0.1 may be downloaded from
