Error description

After a Save and Sync of changes are made in the administrative
console and are successful, selected RESTART to recycle 7
servers the administrative console hangs indefinitely, even
though the joblogs shows e-bus for all servers. The joblog of
the deployment manager servant shows this message.

ExtendedMessage: BBOO0221W: WSVR0605W: Thread
"WebSphere:ORB.thread.pool t=007ca3e8" (00000010) has been
active for 602618 milliseconds and may be hung.  There is/are
1 thread(s) in total in the server that may be hung.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Restarting multiple servers through     *
*                      the administrative console will hang    *
*                      the console indefinitely.               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

Notifications that the servers had restarted successfully were
not being passed up to the administrative console.  This caused
the administrative console to wait at least 5 minutes for each
server to start. During this time, the console would stay in
the working state.

Problem conclusion

The problem was fixed by changing the way notifications sent
during the server stop are processed by the node agent.  It
will send the notifications only to the targets that need to
receive them and not try to send them to all managed servers.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
