Error description

WS-Security Asymmetric bindings created using Rational
Application Developer v7.5 are missing 2 of the 4 protection
tokens when displayed using the WebSphere Application Server
version 7.0  administrative console.

1. Import WebSphere Application Server  V7.0 sample application
SampleClientSei.war to Rational Application Developer  V7.5
2. Attach "Username WSSecurity default" policy set to it with
custom binding named "RAD7.5 Client Binding", which includes
Digital Signature Configuration, XML Encryption Configuration
as well as Token Authentication. Configure all bindings in
Rational Application Developer V7.5
3. Export this client application from Rational Application
Developer v7.5 as SampleClientSeiEAR.ear and install it on
WebSphere Application Server v7.0
4. Navigate to the custom binding configuration panel
"Services > Service Clients > EchoService > RAD7.5
Client Binding > WS-Security > Authentication and Protection
5. Observe there are 2 Protection tokens listed instead of 4.

In the bindings.xml file, there are 4 protection tokens.
Only 2 protection tokens are displayed on the WebSphere
Application Server administrative  console.

In the bindings.xml file, there are 4 protection tokens
configured. Only 2 protection tokens are displayed on the
WebSphere Application Server version 7.0 administrative
console.

There is no error indicated in any log files as this is a
parsing error in the WebSphere Application Server v7.0
administrative console. The binding from Rational Application
Developer v7.5 works correctly in our web services runtime, it
is displayed incorrectly.

Problem conclusion

Code was added so that 4 token names are parsed
in the Authentication and protection token panel controller for
asymmetric bindings.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
