Error description

The shutdown() method of a custom service is never invoked
during server shutdown. As a result, the custom service does
not get an opportunity to clean up any resources it holds.

Stack product components that should be loaded only in the
z/OS control region are not loaded.  Additionally, components
that should only be loaded in the z/OS servant regions are
loaded in the control region.

*                      is the shutdown() method of a Custom    *
*                      service called.  On z/OS, runtime       *
*                      services are not started in the         *
*                      proper regions.                         *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

Enabling the runtime provisioning feature causes Custom and
runtime services to not shutdown in an orderly manner.
Runtime services are not started in the proper z/OS region.

Problem conclusion

The shutdown() method of a Custom service is now invoked and
runtime services are now stopped in the proper order when the
Application Server is shutdown with the runtime provisioning
feature enabled. Runtime services now start in the appropriate
z/OS region.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
