Error description

Some IBM products require use of JMS messaging within the
deployment manager process of a WebSphere Application Server
cell. When attempting to connect to a bus from the deployment
manager process, the following exception is thrown:

com.ibm.ws.sib.trm.client.TargetMessagingEngineResolver$
NoCFEndpointInSelectionException: CWSIT0100E: Expected to
obtain a CFEndpoint from the Selection but none was present
(internal error).
com.ibm.wsspi.channel.framework.exception.
InvalidChainNameException: Chain configuration not found in
framework, BootstrapBasicMessaging
at com.ibm.ws.channel.framework.impl.ChannelFrameworkImpl.
getOutboundVCFactory(ChannelFrameworkImpl.java:543)
at com.ibm.ws.runtime.component.ChannelFrameworkServiceImpl.

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Channel framework definitions           *
*                      required in order to establish JMS      *
*                      connections are not defined in the      *
*                      Deployment Manager profile.             *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

This issue does not affect users of JMS applications within
WebSphere Application Server, as these applications are not
installed into the deployment manager process.

Problem conclusion

Deployment manager profiles created with this APAR applied will
contain the resources required to establish JMS connections.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.1.0.22 and 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended
