Error description

A NullPointerException occurs when the asynchronous request
dispatcher tries to flush results to the HTTP Channel.

There was a timing issue with the setting of a variable that
causes the thread to try to close the connection. In this
case, two related threads both tried to close the connection
and the second one caused a NullPointerException.

Problem conclusion

The WebContainer has been modified to properly synchronize the
use of this variable.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
