PK74129: REQUESTDISPATCHER FORWARD TO STATIC FILE SERVING SERVLET DOES NOT WORK

Error description

It does not work to do a RequestDispatcher forward to
SimpleFileServlet on WebSphere Application Server V7.0
because of the way ServletWrapper tries to instantiate the
servlet.

The exception would look like this in the logs:

Problem conclusion

The WebContainer has been modified to prevent this error
condition from occurring. Please note, it is not a best
practice for a customer application to directly reference the
SimpleFileServlet.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
