Error description

ADMC0072E: Failed to initialize or start channel chain
due to exception
com.ibm.wsspi.channel.framework.exception.ChainGroupException:
Error initializing chain <chain> in group <group>,
exception=com.ibm.wsspi.channel.framework.exception.
RetryableChannelException: The socket name is not available on
this system.

Local fix

Edit the named endpoint IPC_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS for the server
that fails to start.  Change the hostname to the WebSphere
variable "${LOCALHOST_NAME}".  Then restart the server

The IPC_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS hostname in the serverindex.xml
should be set as a variable ${LOCALHOST_NAME}, and not hard
coded as the actual host name.

Problem conclusion

After migration, The IPC_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS hostname in the
serverindex.xml is set as ${LOCALHOST_NAME} and not hard coded
as the actual hostname.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
