Error description

When the 'enableInProcessConnections' custom web container
property is set to true web service requests fail with the
following ClassCastException:

java.lang.ClassCastException:
com.ibm.ws.localhttp.channel.outbound.impl.
LHttpOutboundServiceContext incompatible with
com.ibm.ws.http.channel.outbound.impl.
HttpOutboundServiceContextImpl

*                      property was set to true, a web         *
*                      service request failed.                 *

Due to a ClassCastException, the web services transport layer
could not handle in-process connections. The web service
request would consistently fail due to this error.

Problem conclusion

The problem has been fixed. The web services transport layer
code has been updated to handle both local and non-local
connection related configurations. This allows local and non-
local web service requests to be successfully sent.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
