Error description

Cannot create a Tunnel Access Point Group with both Core Group
and Tunnel Access Points as members.

The following message is logged:
Message: java.lang.ClassCastException:
com.ibm.websphere.models.config.coregroupbridge
service.impl.TunnelPeerAccessPointImpl incompatible with
com.ibm.websphere.models.config.coregroupbridgeservice.

Steps to recreate the problem:
Servers > Core Groups > Core group bridge settings
> Tunnel Access Point Groups

New > Tunnel access point group name: test

move Core Group to tunnel access point group
move Tunnel Access Point to tunnel access point group

To circumvent the problem:
Was able to work around this problem by
creating a Tunnel Access Point Group with
no members and then add the members later.

Problem conclusion

To prevent the ClassCastException, changed
LookupTunnelAccesPointAction class to allow
creation with multiple member types.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
