Error description

If the size parameter that you pass to the
getQueuePointMessageData method on a SIBMessagingEngine MBean is
greater than the size of the message, an
ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is thrown.

This MBean method is used when attempting to get the data from
a message in a script, or administritive Java application
using the Java Management Extensions (JMX) interface.

Local fix

The entire message should be returned if the buffer is larger
than the message rather then throwing an exception.

There is no bounds checking within the MBean method.

Problem conclusion

This APAR corrects the method so that if the parameter is
greater than the length of the message, all of the
message data is returned.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.1.0.23 and 7.1.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended
