Error description

The WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console command
assistance is incorrect for data sources in these two ways:

1. After editing a data source, the command assistance outputs
the wrong value for the Container-managed authentication alias.

2. After creating or editing a data source, the command
assistance does not show any of the changes that were made to
a container managed persistence (CMP) connection factory.

The WebSphere Administrative Console command assistance is
incorrect for data sources in these two ways:

1. After editing a data source, the command assistance outputs
the wrong value for the Container-managed authentication
alias. Instead of outputting the right value, it outputs the
same value that was entered for the Component-managed
authentication alias.

2. After creating creating a new data source or editing an
existing data source, the command assistance does not show any
of the changes that were made to a container managed
persistence (CMP) connection factory.

Problem conclusion

Both issues have been resolved and command assistance is now
correct.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
