Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) container's Digest Trust
Association Interceptor (TAI) was activated using Application
Server's plugin.xml descriptor. A NullPointerException was
thrown from Digest TAI which was activated unnecessarily.
Customers lacked the option to turn off digest TAI
authentication in that scenario.

Problem conclusion

A new SIP container customer property was introduced -
'com.ibm.ws.sip.security.enable.digest.tai'. It's default
value is true (authentication is enabled). If you wish to
disable the SIP container's Digest Trust Association
Interceptor (TAI) you should set this custom property to false.

Note: This property is intended for internal use by IBM
products and should only be set by them when needed
