Dynacache Invalidation issues while sharing is set at
NOT_SHARED. Websphere Application Server v6.1.0.19.

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED:  All users of WebSphere Application Server   *
*                  V6.1 and V7.0 Network Deployment who        *
*                  configure a replication domain for the      *
*                  cache instance.                             *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a cache instance is configured     *
*                      as a NOT_SHARED, invalidations are      *
*                      not propagated on content updates.      *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
When a cache instance is configured in the NOT_SHARED
replication mode, invalidation events are not sent to other
members in the cluster when items are inserted or updated in
the cache.

A custom property has  been defined
Name:
com.ibm.ws.cache.CacheConfig.propogateInvalidationsNotShared
Value: true  or false
default: false
which when set to true leads to invalidations being sent for
cache entry insertions and updates for a NOT_SHARED cache
instance.

Please note that this custom property increases the number of
invalidations replicated in the cluster.

Problem conclusion

Propogate invalidations for cache item updates for NOT_SHARED
cache instances.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.1.0.25 and 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended
