Error description

NoSuchMethodError occurs in the WASXSipApplicationSession
class when calling the Replicatable.getLogicalName() method
when using WebSphere Application Server v7.0 with WebSphere
Extended Deployment and ObjectGrid (IBM Extreme Scale) as the
Session replication service.

The exception prevents the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
container from working.

When using WebSphere Application Server v7.0 with WebSphere
Extended Deployment and ObjectGrid (IBM Extreme Scale) as the
Session replication service, a NoSuchMethodError occurs in
the WASXSipApplicationSession class when calling the
Replicatable.getLogicalName() method.

Problem conclusion

WebSphere Extended Deployment was architected with WebSphere
Application Server v6.1 in mind.  The method signature for the
Replicatable.getLogicalName() method is different in WebSphere
Application Server v7.0 than in v6.1.  Because of this
difference, a NoSuchMethodError occurs when calling the
Replicatable.getLogicalName() method when WebSphere Extended
Deployment is run with WebSphere Application Server v7.0.

Since backward compatibility is an important feature, the
method signature will be reverted to its 6.1 version.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
