Error description

When migrating WebSphere Application Server from Version 5.1 to
WebSphere Application Server Version 7, the WASPostUpgrade step
fails with the following error:

com.ibm.ws.migration.utility.UpgradeException:
com.ibm.ws.sib.migration
SIBMigrationHelperException: CWSIO0002E: Server <server name> on
node <node name> could not be added to bus <bus name>. Reason =
CWSIO0006E: The addSIBusMember command failed. Reason
= CWSJA0160E: Only one server bus member for each service
integration bus can be added as part of the current profile.

The WASPostUpgrade process attempts to create a bus for the
server being migrated using the nodename as the name
for that bus. If that bus name already exists it adds the
server to that bus as a bus member. However, the Base version
of WebSphere Application Server allows only one server to be
added to a bus and so the add bus member command fails with
the CWSIO0002E error.

To fix this problem, the bus names for the second and
subsequent Base servers are created using the format
<nodeName>_<serverName>. This ensures that a unique
bus is created for each Base server that is being
migrated.

The migration of the first Base server remains the same as
before.

Problem conclusion

The fix resolves the migration problem and is targeted for
inclusion in WebSphere Application Server fix pack 7.0.0.3.
