Error description

A deployment error results when blaname option is specified
through Java programming using the prefs parameter in the
readArchive method or through wsadmin/console/Java with a full
format such as WebSphere:blaname=xxx using the application
options step.

When a business-level application name option is specified in a
complete object name format, the enterprise application
install code does not break down the complete name format to
get the business-level application name. Instead it
treats the entire string as the business-level application
name causing the following exception:

CWWMH0158E: The specfied name
"WebSphere:blaname=BLA1" is not a valid business-level
application name.  The name must be non-empty, cannot have
leading or trailing blanks or a leading dot, and cannot
contain any of the following characters: \/,#$@:;"*?<>|=+&%'

Problem conclusion

The code has been corrected to handle a business-level
application name specified in a complete object name format.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
