PK76448: SSL CONNECTION INFORMATION IS NOT HONORED UPON SOCKET CREATION

Error description

A customer is reporting CWPKI0022E error messages, due to an
incorrect certificate called by users when they're trying to use
web application functions.
This problem is random, but it started when customer migrated
from 6.1.0.13 to 6.1.0.19.
It seems to be not a certificate or configuration error, cause
the same credential is running without problems.

Also observed another scenario where inbound soap connections
were using incorrect keystore. It was pulling the ldap keystore
information from the current thread and issueing error,
CWPKI0022E: SSL HANDSHAKE FAILURE.

Due to code defect, SSL socket creation code did not clean up
the information which was used for dynamic SSL configuration
selection. As a result, a subsequent SSL socket creation might
use incorrect SSL information which was selected based on
hostname and port number.

Problem conclusion

With this code fix, SOAPConnector Client, FileTransfer Client
and SSL SocketFactory class were modified to clean up
variables which are not relevant in a current context.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.1.0.25, and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the Recommended
