Error description

Customers may see many entries of the BBODPCRT module in LPA. As
much as 170 entries have been observed. For example:

When browsing the entry point storage address associated with
the LPA directory entries, only some will contain actual copies
of the module, while others will be storage areas that are
already freed. When the storage areas were freed, the LPA
directory entries should have also been deleted.

Local fix

Problem summary

Each time a server is started bbodpcrt is loaded from the hfs
into common storage and CSVDYLPA REQUEST=ADD BYADDR=YES is
issued to add it to the list of routines in LPA. If the newly
loaded bbodpcrt matches the bbodpcrt loaded previously, the
storage for the bbodpcrt just loaded is released but it is not
removed from the list of routines loaded into LPA. This leads
to bbodpcrt showing up in the list of routines loaded into LPA
many more times than it should.

Problem conclusion

Changed the code to save the token from CSVDYLPA REQUEST=ADD
and issue CSVDYLPA REQUEST=DELETE when bbodpcrt is freed.

APAR PK77358 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.5 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0
for z/OS.
