PK78527: SERVICE LISTENER STATUS IS INCORRECT ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONSOLE FOR ZOS

Error description

On z/OS, in the service provider panel on the administrative
console, the listener status shows unavailable  (the "?"
icon) when the correct status should be either started or
stopped (green arrow or red X). If a user clicks on the "start
listener" or "stop listener" buttons, the two buttons work
correctly.

The web service provider listener status is incorrect in the
administrative console. It can either show unavailable (the
"?" icon) or the green arrow when the service provider
listener is actually stopped.

Problem conclusion

The administrative console was updated to show the correct
status.

APAR PK78527 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.3 of WebSphere
Application Server  for z/OS.
