Error description

When processing an XML Digital Signature, the WS-Security
header in the SOAP message must contain a wsu:Id attribute
that refers to another element in the SOAP message.  If that
attribute does not exist in the message, a NullPointerException
occurs.

When processing an XML Digital Signature, the WS-Security
header in the SOAP message must contain a wsu:Id attribute
that refers to another element in the SOAP message.  If that
attribute does not exist in the message, a NullPointerException
occurs.

The wsu namespace is http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/
oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd

This problem is most likely to occur if the Id attribute is
unqualified.

Problem conclusion

The WS-Security code has been updated to no longer issue a
NullPointerException.  A more informative message will now be
issued to indicate the problem. However the incoming message
will still be invalid and cannot be processed.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 6.1.0.25.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
