Error description

When SIP Failover is enabled, the Application Server abends
when the last Servant Region fails and the session data fails
over to another Application Server.

* RECOMMENDATION:  Since the SIP Failover for z/OS feature     *
*                  has not been formally released, this        *
*                  problem will not affect current customers.  *
****************************************************************
When the last Servant Region on an Application Server fails
but the Control Region survives, another Application Server
attempts to recover the session data.  Since both servers have
the recovery log open, an abend occurs.  The abend code is
abend=00EC3000 rsncode=160D000D.

Problem conclusion

When the last Servant Region fails but the Control Region
survives, all data assigned to the Application Server will
now be lost.  To properly fix this would be very complicated.
For now, we will be avoiding the abend.

APAR PK78888 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.3 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0
for z/OS.
