In the advanced LDAP settings panel, the customer is unable to
use more than one attribute:member pair in the group member id
map. It is possible to specify multiple
pairs using semicolons (;) as delimiter, but only the first
attribute is chosen even when there are additional group
attributes. When the group membership filter is set to retrieve
the groups for the user using the user attributes (nsroles,
etc.) and group member attributes, for example,

groupOfNames:member;ibm-allGroups:member;ibm-allGroups:uniqueMem
ber

this yields only the group membership indirectly from the
groups instead of also looking for the user's attribute
ibm-allGroups.

Problem conclusion

The code was modified such that when user's attribute pairs
and group's attribute pairs are used together there is a
direct search using the user's attributes and then an indirect
search using the group's attributes. The results show unique
group membership in that groups retrieved are not duplicates.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 6.1.0.27 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the Recommended
