Closed as program error.
Error description
After a period of time , the following exception is thrown. The "Network" resource is available and the test is able to restart with restarting Application Server or the Network Resource. This is a WSN scenario , with one producer , one broker and one consumers , all residing on their own boxes. These boxes are behind their own switch, and they are not suffering from any TCP connectivity issues (according to the system logs) This problem occurs after the test has been running successfully for a period of time (several hours) [29/10/08 09:54:34:343 GMT] FFDC Exception:java.io.IOException SourceId:com.ibm.ws.webservices.engine.transp ort.http.HTTPSender.invoke ProbeId:795 ... java.io.IOException: Async IO operation failed (1), reason: RC: 55 The specified network resource or device is no longer available.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V7.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A "java.io.IOException: Async IO * * operation failed" error occurs while * * saving data in the Administrative * * Console. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The administrative console is writing data to the response after a redirect has occurred, which leads to the error. The error is benign in that it doesn't affect console functionality, but it does cause FFDC logs to be written and errors to be logged.
Problem conclusion
The administrative console has been updated to ensure that no data is written to the response after the redirect. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 7.0.0.3.
