Error description

For a request which maps to the default servlet, the
application uses the servlet path to forward the
request to a different resource. However the servlet path is
not set as expected and, as a result, the resource is
not found.

This may lead to the the following error:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: JSPG0036E: failed to find
resource /test.jsp

The WebContainer incorrectly sets the Servlet Path and PathInfo
for requests mapped to a default servlet as if the request was
mapped to a /* mapping. As a result the Servlet Path is set to
an empty string and the PathInfo is set based on the contents of
the URI after the Context Path.

Problem conclusion

The WebContainer has been updated to correctly set the request
path elements for a request mapped to a default servlet. As a
result, the Servlet Path is set to the contents of the URI
after the Context Path and the PathInfo is set null. However,
to enable this new behavior the following WebContainer custom
property must be set to true:

Property Name:
com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.EnableDefaultServletRequestPathElements
Property Values :
true/false(default).
