Error description
When security attribute propagation is enabled, only the first caller is propagated. Therefore, if an application calls the API to show the caller list, it will only contain the first caller.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server * * V7.0 using security attribute propagation. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When security attribute propagation is * * enabled, only the first caller in is * * propagated, instead of the entire * * caller list. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The default value for the security custom property com.ibm.CSI.propagateFirstCallerOnly was being set to true instead of false. Therefore, the default behaviour was to only propagate the first caller.
Problem conclusion
The code was updated to set the default value for the security custom property com.ibm.CSI.propagateFirstCallerOnly to false instead of true so that the entire caller list is propagated by default. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 7.0.0.3. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
Temporary fix
Define the security custom property com.ibm.CSI.propagateFirstCallerOnly with a value of false.
