* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The process of configuring the Common   *
*                      Event Infrastructure with DB2 iSeries   *
*                      database fails when using the option    *
*                      ?createDB true. That is, you request    *
*                      the configuration process to also       *
*                      create and configure the database       *
*                      repository.                             *

When you invoke the AdminTask to configure Common Event
Infrastructure with DB2 iSeries an error is being raised:

Creation of the event database on DB2iSeries failed because of
errors?.

During Common Event Infrastructure configuration process the
database creation and configuration scripts are invoked via
CLI. The attempt to delete from an empty table and to commit
raises errors which affect the value of the script return code
such that it no longer represents a successful execution.

Problem conclusion

The scripts were modified in order to tolerate these cases so
that they are not considered a failure of the configuration
process.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.25 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the
