The Application Server abended trying to execute a compare
double and swap(CDS) instruction on storage that was not
properly aligned. The following error text could be displayed:

Problem conclusion

Modification to the storage structures were made to properly
align CDS fields.

APAR PK80838 is currently targeted for
inclusion in Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.3 of WebSphere
Application Server for z/OS.
